2017 HospICE Gala
The 2017 HospICE Gala raised over $128,000 towards end-of-life compassionate care funding 254 days of care for a resident!
On February 25, 2017, the Sheraton Special Events Centre was transformed into an upscale 80’s lounge and our Presenting Sponsor, Sheraton Hotel of Red Deer, delighted guests with the fabulous four-course meal they served. A video tribute honouring the contributions volunteers make to Hospice followed dinner, along with live and silent auctions.
Guests had the opportunity to win a $5,000 home decor package courtesy of Central Alberta Tile One, access to a VIP lounge post dinner, and bottle service centerpieces courtesy of Curvy Bottle and Liquor Hutch. Award winning dance band, Bella Rouge, entertained with their impressions and kept the dance floor packed all night.
A big shout out to our entertaining MC’s, Vinnie Taylor and Kyla Rae; our auctioneer, Rick Horn; and to all our Gala guests and sponsors for their generosity. As well, our gratitude goes out to our fantastic Gala Committee for all their time and efforts putting together this amazing night!
