POSITION: Fund Development and Marketing Coordinator 0.8 F.T.E. - 1 year term	BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The Red Deer Hospice is currently seeking a highly skilled, enthusiastic, flexible and dedicated professional to coordinate fund development and the enhancement of our organization profile.  Reporting directly to the Executive Director, you will be primarily responsible for development of fundraising, marketing and communication plans with short-term and long-term goals, initiatives and timelines.  Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: Identification and solicitation of potential funding sources Relationship management for the purpose of fund development Supporting the coordination and implementation of fund raising activities Marketing and communication Brand recognition Skills and Qualifications include: 1-3 years experience in a related field Post secondary education in a marketing, communications, Public Relations or Fundraising program preferred Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of fundraising principles and theories matched with practical application Knowledge or experience working in the not-for-profit or charity sector an asset Excellent written communication and oral presentation skills Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision Ability to travel within Central Alberta and work occasional overtime We offer a comprehensive benefits package, a professional working environment and an opportunity to grow within a well respected community organization. POSITION: Health Care Aide (HCA) Part Time & Casual   Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Casual	BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Qualifications: You must possess a PCA/HCA certificate from a recognized college or institution.  1-3 years palliative care experience is an asset.   Qualifications: You will have an active registration with the CLPNA with related experience in palliative care.  As a vital member of our team, you will apply your excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.  You will also have the ability to work independently at a high pace and can easily adapt to change.
